OUT/IN OUT An interactive real-time installation
This installation is devised to blur the boundaries between outside and inside.
The wall of the gallery is freed from its materiality, it becomes transparent. A real-time video of the immediate outside is projected onto the wall and the real-time sound of the outside interferes with the image. The sound is transformed into image and thus, the idea of “hearing by seeing” is emphasized.
The spectators looking at the projected images are also projected on the outer wall of the building. The inside of the building is carried to the outside. Thus, the physical standings of outside and inside change place.
